We are pleased to announce that we will be back for a second issue, and that the theme of this issue will be ‘Metamorphosis’!
Building upon the ideas explored in our previous issue, ‘Metamorphosis’ is a love letter to the creators that continue to transform not only themselves and their communities, but the very worlds they traverse, often imagining new ones beyond count. Here, we begin to explore how cultural practices are deeply entwined with our respective lifeworlds, whose energies resist the discrete categorizations and divisions that are often imposed upon them.
We are looking for work that is diverse in nature, and celebrates these divergent art practices. If you have a passion for the arts, and a desire to write about art and culture, then you have come to the right place! We are seeking a wide range of written submissions ranging from but not limited to:
- Artist features & Interviews
- Essays
- Exhibition/Gallery Reviews
- Personal Reflections
- Opinions & Editorials
If you are interested in submitting your work of writing for consideration, please email us at delve@uoguelph.ca, or DM us on our Instagram @delvemagazine_
Submissions should be original writing about art and culture, and within the range of 500-4000 words. Photos may be included as well. There is no current deadline for consideration. Print deadlines will be announced later during the submission cycle.
We can’t wait to read your submissions!
